We contacted Gerry’s Roofing as the roof on the house was going to be replaced soon (October 2025). From the initial quote, there was no pressure to sign with them, the sales rep made a few suggestions that helped us decide what we needed (roof colour and shingle brand).
We chose to use Gerry’s Roofing as they offered a great warranty, as well as offering a competitive price. They aren’t the cheapest, but the price was more realistic wit the size of roof we have.
The job was sligtly delayed due to weather, being late fall it was no surprise, but the roof replacement started a day later. The crew was great (Wes and crew), all very professional, and easy to work with. they did a great job, the roof looks amazing. The one issue that did come up was the plywood in the upper roof had dry rot and mould as there were some things installed incorrectly from a previous owner. The plywood wasn’t the cheapest it was quoted a little high, but i opted to replace it as i know the new roof could have blown off if the old plywood was kept. They also reclipped a gutter on the back side of the house that was sagging severely, and installed new exhaust hoses for my bathroom exhaust fans while they replaced the plywood, I was very happy with that as well.
The only thing not completed was a final inspectiion as the snow came early this year, and I hope to see the project manager back for that in the spring.
So far the roof is doing it’s job, there are no leaks, and it looks great.

The process from start to finish was excellent. Steven did a great job explaining why we needed to look into our attic to ensure proper ventilation before just replacing the roof on our house. He did a thorough job recording the mold, lack of insulation and improper ventilation. We were reassured the fact that by going with D’Angelo we’d not only have great work done but it would be backed by a reputable name.

Given the time of the year, the weather is unpredictable but a crew showed up on time and worked diligently to remove old shingles, fix our bathroom vent, insulate, replace molded plywood, and reshingle all in one day. Truly impressive given the sun sets by 5pm at the moment!

Jennifer is great to communicate with and assured us of the great work by sending photos of the before and completed work.

10/10 would recommend D’Angelo and sons.

I highly recommend Platinum Roofing & Exteriors Hamilton! I was impressed by the first meeting to receive a quote. After hearing about our leak issue, the owner Nick arrived with the sales manager Andrew to pop up onto the roof to take a peak. Another roofer had temporarily tarped the problematic section of the roof but there was still a small leak. Nick found the problem and temporarily corrected it even though we hadn’t even sat down with Andrew yet to review our options. Now that is professionalism! Long story short, we had our entire roof replaced. Paul, the project manager, and his crew were very organized and carried out a terrific job, along with clean up. From my first interaction with Chris Titterington (co-owner and CEO), I knew I was going to use The Roofing Master. They were recommended by a home inspector I know and they have an amazing warranty. They are great with communication, answered every question I had promptly and were ready and available when I was ready for my roof replacement. Their prices are competitive and they have several package options to work with your budget. They have a large variety of colours to choose from and the materials they use are top quality. The communication before, during and after installation was excellent. I knew exactly when they were coming, how long it would take and the clean up was thorough. They also don’t nickel and dime you. They are upfront about any unknown costs (eg. how many sheets of plywood that might need to be replaced) and do not replace them if it’s unnecessary to.
