Customer Reviews:
They share the office space with the ear nose, throat doctor I had an appointment with. After I thought maybe it’s time to have a hearing test as it’s been quite a while and I was only 5 feet from their office. I talked to the receptionist and asked if there was a cost for a test and she said no. A win win situation if I ever saw one. We arranged a day that was available and so was I and that was that. Very friendly helpful and accommodating staff to make things go smoothly. I’m glad I picked Hometown Hearing Centre. The staff are always friendly and hasn’t changed.
I am a 64yr old man who has suffered hearing loss due to loud work environments. I didn’t protect my hearing and I now require hearing aids. I had not looked into it until I was required to have a hearing test in conjunction with a consultation with an ENT. What I found was a stellar staff that after my consultation with the ENT showed me how hearing aids have changed and how much they can improve my life. The experts showed me my options for better hearing and allowed me to make my choice. It was informational and helpful to me making the right decision for me. I didn’t feel pressured in anyway and felt that their only goal was my better hearing. I placed my order the same day and I’m anticipating my new hearing shortly. The experience has left me wondering why I haven’t done it sooner. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, answered all of my questions helping me make my decision easier. Truly these are the people that will handle my better hearing going forward.

Customer Reviews:
I came in today with my hearing test results already completed, and the team was absolutely amazing. They reviewed my test carefully, explained everything clearly, and reassured me that my hearing is completely fine. Their professionalism and respect truly stood out.
What impressed me the most is that they genuinely care about people, not money. They took the time to go over my results, answer my questions, and give me peace of mind — all for free. It’s rare to find such honest and caring service these days.
From now on, this will be the only hearing clinic I go to in Hamilton. Thank you for your kindness, professionalism, and exceptional service. Highly recommended!

Was experiencing muffling in my left ear and was concerned that wax was building up and getting packed in. I reached and they quickly fit me it and with in a few minutes they checked the ear and it was clear, the ear drum was ok. Recommend to follow up with family doc to ensure an infection was not brewing

Customer Reviews:
Melissa at the front office and Karie, the Audiologist, are both exceptionally good at their work, and they never hesitate to go the extra mile to help you. If you need any hearing tests done for official purposes—such as OACP or RCMP requirements—or if you just want to have your ears and hearing checked, look no further.
I’m a returning customer, and they have never let me down. In fact, it’s quite the opposite—they know how to cheer you up while getting the work done with 100% professionalism.
I highly recommend Sound Choice. I made an appointment for a potential ear wax issue. Melissa at the front desk was very pleasant and Karie was extremely helpful. It wasn’t an ear wax issue but I did end up having a hearing examine. Karie is very knowledgeable and genuinely cares about her clients and has their best interests in mind. If you’re having issues with your ears, Sound Choice should be your first choice.
